Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) is the use of pharmacological medications, combined with counseling and behavioral therapies. Combining medication, counseling, and/or behavioral therapies can be effective for substance use disorder (SUD) treatment. We provide a safe medication management plan to help with physical cravings so you can focus on your recovery. Patients can taper off medication as they begin to replace negative coping skills with functional behavior, if advised by their provider/therapist.
