St. George Medical Clinic is pleased to welcome Angela Bohon as the facility’s newest FNP-C. As a child, Angela was a patient of St. George Medical Clinic; now, she is excited to join the practice and connect with the community. We sat down with Angela to discuss her educational background and how she hopes to serve the clinic’s patients and the community:
What qualifies you for this position?
Angela: After graduating from Tucker County High School in 2011, I finished my BSN to become a RN from West Virginia University (WVU) in 2015. I completed my Master’s degree at WVU in May of 2019, and I’m currently finishing my doctorate degree in Morgantown, as well.
Are you from Tucker County?
Angela: Yes, I grew up in St. George and was actually a patient at St. George Medical Clinic growing up. So, I am excited to be back in my hometown and giving back to the community.
What do you hope to achieve through your role at St. George?
Angela: The community has given me so many opportunities, so I want to give back to the community. I also want to have a good nurse practitioner/ patient relationship with each of my patients.
What’s the most enjoyable part of your job?
Angela: I like seeing when a patient realizes how a healthier lifestyle can affect their day to day routine and their health.
What do you enjoy outside of work?
Angela: I enjoy spending time with my family, my boyfriend and my English Bulldog named Bosco. I like being able to disconnect from electronics, so hiking or anything outdoors is enjoyable to me.
